Airframe Regulations

Recovering plane is allowed.

No wing and horizontal stabilizer modifications other than repairs and/or reinforcement.

Vertical stabilizer may be modified.

Canopy may be replaced or modified.

Fuselage must maintain original shape and outline except for fin/rudder and canopy.

Belly pan is required.

Standard size servos or mini servos with 4 screws are required.

Minimum ready to fly weight is 5 pounds and 8 ounces.

Saito 65

Saito 62a

Note: Any Saito engine up to .82 c.i. is legal including Golden Knight or plain versions

 

Propulsion System Regulations

Engines may be modified except for supercharging or turbocharging.

Any exhaust system may be used.

Any size of prop may be used and props may be modified.

Bubbleless tanks are allowed.

Contestants must provide their own fuel and any fuel is allowed.

 

Courses to be used

525' 2 pole course for planes under 125mph.

700' RCPRO Warbird 2 pole course.

AMA Short or Long 3 pole course.
