Club 40 Sponsorship

RCPRO will provide sponsorship to clubs running Club 40 events.

Trophies will be provided for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Fast Time for events that are run to the Club 40 rules. The hosting club will be responsible for complying with AMA regulations, or must have AMA waivers as needed. Races must be scheduled 3 months in advance in order to get trophies scheduled. Shorter lead times may be possible depending on the AMA engraving service schedule.

It is highly desired that races be AMA sanctioned for a number of reasons. Sanctioning provides publicity in Model Aviation. It also provides liability protection to all involved.

Race results will be required in return for sponsorship. Paul Herman's NMPRA Race program or RCPRO Race program should be used if possible. The program generates HTML output that can easily be posted in the RCPRO forums.

RCPRO will work to provide additional sponsorship with major R/C suppliers and non-R/C sponsors. A proposal is being created for a high visibility non-R/C potential sponsor.
