Portable Pylon

Portable Pylon - Materials

Per pylon you need:

1 - 3" CPVC x 10 ft pipe for mast
4 - 2" CPVC x 10 ft pipe for legs
1 - 2" CPVC x 10 ft pipe for masthead
2 - 2" PVC repair couplings

2 - 12" x 1/2" threaded rod
8 - 1/2" Zinc coated nut
4 - 1/2" Fender washer
8 - 4 1/4" x 1/4" Clothes line hook with one 1/4" nut
8 - 1/4" Zinc coated nut
8 - 1/4" washer - the thinner, the better
4 - 4 ft section of 1" link chain - light duty 1 inch link is enough
4 - 1/2" thumbscrew - optional - I actually prefer just nuts to hold the legs on, easier to run on with a roll of the palm

4 - 8" to 12" x 3/8" nails (stakes)

For each bucket top you need:

1 - 5 gallon plastic paint bucket and lid
1 - 2" PVC end cap (fits over the 2" PVC pipe)
1 - 2" x 1/4" full thread bolt
2 - 1/4" Zinc coated nut
2 - 1/4" Fender washer

CPVC/PVC compatible adhesive
Paint as desired - fluorescents are not colorfast
